Babies and toddlers
Our vision
A warm, loving, safe and fun place for little ones
Who looks after your child
We want the children to get to know the people caring for them, so that they settle well – and so that parents can relax too.
Team leaders
Four team leaders each serve once a month. They greet the children, talk with parents about any needs or concerns, and co-ordinate the session.
Young helpers
A younger member of the team helps each month – preparing the snack, nursing babies or sorting out craft for the toddlers.
Volunteers
Other volunteers join the team on a rota, so there are always familiar, friendly faces.
A typical Sunday
- A warm welcome – a team leader greets each child and chats with parents about any needs or concerns.
- Play, snack and craft – time to play, enjoy a snack and, for toddlers, a simple craft.
- Bible story and songs – at the end of the session the children hear a Bible story and sing a few songs.
- A little treat – everyone is rewarded with a chocolate button or bubbles!
To create a warm, loving, safe and fun environment where little ones can learn about God and His faithfulness, and make friends too!

- They will be nurtured and loved
- They will be prepared for the move up to King’s Kids
For parents – we pray that:
- Parents will trust the team of leaders caring for their little ones
- Parents will feel welcome and build friendships
- Parents will share experiences and learn from each other
- Parents and children will be greatly blessed through this ministry
Moving up: from their nursery school year, children join King’s Kids on a Sunday morning.
